RAWALPINDI: In collaboration with Punjab Council of the Arts Rawalpindi (PUCAR), Nayab Adabi Forum on Tuesday arranged first annual Mushaira in honor of renowned poet Naseem Sheikh Sharif from Karachi.
Presided over by the country’s renowned poet, critic and columnist Naseem Sehar, the annual poetry recital was attended by Prof. Ehsan Elahi Ehsan from Chakwal, Shah Dil Shams from Hafizabad, Dr. Munir Tabish from Chak
Bailey, Asif Naqvi from Aymanabad Gujranwala and Malik Irfan Khani from Kalar Kahar. Nusrat Yab Khan Nusrat, Chairman, Rare Literary Forum, performed the duties of the directorate.
Naseem Sheikh, a renowned poet of the country, was awarded the “Rare Literary Award” by the NayabAdabiForum for his outstanding literary services. Naseem Sehar, President of the Mushaera, said that it is certainly
commendable that such a wonderful Mushaera was held at the Punjab Arts Council. He appreciated the literary services of the Rare Literary Forum and hoped to hold similar programs in the future as well.
