Police boosts public awareness through FM 92.4 & digital platforms

ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police FM Radio 92.4 not only provides citizens with the latest traffic updates but also broadcasts special messages daily regarding various weather conditions and emergencies.
Additionally, residents of the federal capital can participate in live programs by calling 051-9263184 and can also share their valuable feedback.
During the ongoing month FM 92.4 broadcast 71 public awareness programs, 390 traffic updates and over 9,000 messages related to road safety.
Similarly, Islamabad Police FM 92.4 consistently shares traffic-related alerts, as well as various informative and entertainment programs. Additionally, weather and emergency updates are transmitted using Safe City cameras.
Citizens can also send messages to 4471 to share their feedback, questions or to register complaints against police officials. Furthermore, they can join the live stream through various social media platforms.
Chief Traffic Officer Islamabad Captain (retd) Syed Zeeshan Haider stated that Islamabad Police is not only operationally active but also engaging citizens through audio-visual platforms.
He further said that, Islamabad Police is taking every possible measure to ensure the safety of life and property of its citizens. Citizens are urged to report any suspicious items or activities to the concerned police station, emergency helpline Pucar-15 or through the ICT-15 app immediately.
