ISLAMABAD: IGP Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has taken another positive step for public convenience in the federal capital.
In this regard, 26 special “Police Help Desks” have been set up in all police station limits to provide timely guidance to citizens and ensure immediate assistance during any emergency situation.
Additionally, young and professional police officers have been assigned to these help desks and female police officers have also been deployed to address any issues faced by women.
These help desks will not only assist citizens but will also take action against professional beggars in commercial centers without discrimination.
Through this help desks, citizens can obtain immediate information on any matter and will be able to get help from Islamabad Police during any emergency or difficult situation.
IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi stated that the purpose of establishing these help desks is to provide every possible facility to citizens while ensuring the smooth movement of people in commercial centers and promoting business activities.
He further mentioned that citizens face issues such as harassment, difficulties in movement and other illegal activities in commercial centers which negatively affect public activities in the city.
Considering these challenges Islamabad Police has established these special “Police Help Desks” to ensure the safety of citizens in commercial areas and allow them to continue their activities freely.
