ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held a key meeting at Central Police Office Islamabad. The meeting was attended by DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq, DG Safe City Shakir Hussain Dawar and other senior police officers.
During the meeting IGP reviewed the ongoing positive reforms in Islamabad Police and directed all officers to make service delivery more effective and to ensure the provision of quality services to citizens at police stations.
He instructed all officers to conduct surprise visits to police stations and various departments to assess the ground realities and take immediate steps for improvement. He also issued special instructions to make the performance of the investigation wing more effective.
On this occasion, the IGP Islamabad stated that the immediate provision of justice to citizens, transparent inquiries and professional conduct in police stations are top priorities of Islamabad Police. Moreover, under the dynamic leadership of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi effective measures are being taken to improve the performance and public service delivery of Islamabad Police.
