ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Monday expressed deep grief over the death of renowned educationist, intellectual, and literary figure Dr. Arifa Syeda Zahra.
The president, in a statement, said that the passing of Dr. Arifa Zahra was an irreparable loss for Pakistan’s academic and literary circles, as she set an example by dedicating her life to knowledge, research, and service to humanity.
“The deceased’s scholarly services and efforts for the promotion of the national language will always be remembered,” he remarked.
President Zardari prayed for peace for the departed soul and conveyed condolences to the family, students, and academic community.
