President, PM express grief over loss of lives in China quake

ISLAMABAD: The President and Prime Minister of Pakistan extend condolences in seperate message on the human losses in the earthquake tragedy in china’s Northwest region, on Tuesday. Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr . Anwaar ul Hq Kakar says in condolences message, “ deeply saddened to learn about the loss of precious lives due to the earthquake in Gansu province in China. Our sympa-thies are with our Chinese brothers and sisters in this hour of grief.”
While, the President Dr Arif Alvi also expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious hu-man lives in China due to earthquake.
“I would like to extend my sincere sympathy and heartfelt condolences on behalf of the government and people of Pakistan with the bereaved families and people and leadership of China,” he said in a statement issued by the President House.
President Alvi said “We share the grief and sorrow of our Chinese brothers and sisters and stand with them in this hour of grief”. –Agencies
