ISLAMABAD: A hoax call was made at helpline Pucar-15 for a dacoity incident in the precincts of Koral police station.
During the call a citizen informed the police that a theft incident took place in the jurisdiction of Koral police station.
The senior police officers and Koral police team rushed to the spot to collect evidence. After thorough an investigation and CCTV footage the call of the citizen was found fake, on which legal action was initiated against him.
The accused was identified as Khurram Javed. Police team also registered a case against him and started further investigation. During the preliminary investigation the accused confessed that he made a false plot of theft after dialing a hoax call at police helpline Pucar-15.
