ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, special measures are being undertaken to curb criminal activities and to ensure the safety and security of the federal capital.
In line with these directions, search and combing operations are being carried out on a regular basis across different parts of Islamabad. In this regard, search and combing operations were conducted in the jurisdiction of Golra and Karachi Company police stations under the supervision of SP Saddar zone.
During the operations, 292 individuals, 144 houses, 74 motorcycles and 45 vehicles were thoroughly checked, while 18 suspicious persons and 08 illegally residing Afghan nationals were also shifted to police stations for legal proceedings.
