ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police continues its indiscriminate crackdown against criminal elements in the federal capital.
In this regard, under the supervision of SP City Zone Suleman Zaffar, the Kohsar police station carried out timely and effective operations, successfully arresting eight accused belonging to three organized criminal gangs involved in robbery, street crime, and theft activities.
During preliminary investigations, the arrested accused confessed to committing multiple criminal acts in the jurisdiction of Kohsar police station and nearby areas.
Police team also recovered Rs 2.8 million in cash, gold jewelry worth Rs. 5 million, 28 valuable mobile phones, a motorcycle used in the crimes, and weapons along with ammunition. Multiple cases have been registered against the arrested individuals, and further investigation is ongoing.
