PS Sangjani nabs 2, recover drugs, illicit arms

ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police are actively pursuing the “Nasha Ab Nahi” and “Weapons-Free City” campaigns.

As part of these efforts, the Sangjani police conducted an effective operation and arrested two accused. From their possession, 80 liters of liquor along with 13 bottles, two 12-bore shotguns, one MP-5 submachine gun, and a large quantity of ammunition were recovered. Cases have been registered against the arrested accused, and further investigation has been initiated. SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza stated that a zero-tolerance policy is being strictly enforced against drug peddling and illegal weapons.
