ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, special measures are being undertaken to curb criminal activities and to ensure the safety and security of the federal capital. In line with these directions, search and combing operations are being carried out on a regular basis across different parts of Islamabad.
In this regard, a search and combing operation was also conducted in the jurisdiction of Secretariat and Sangjani police stations under the supervision of SP City and SP Saddar.
During the operations, 636 individuals, 340 houses, 20 vehicles and 40 motorcycles were checked, while 20 suspicious persons were also shifted to police stations for legal proceedings.
