ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police’s weapon-free city campaign is progressing swiftly. As part of this effort, the Tarnol police team arrested five accused namely Wali Kan, Aamir Khan, Iqbal Khan, Aamir and Abdul Khaliq involved in possessing illegal weapons.
Police team also recovered 05 machine guns, one repeater gun, 10 different bore pistols, a bulletproof vest, along with ammunition. Cases have been registered against the arrested individuals, and further investigation has begun. SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza stated that strict implementation of the zero-tolerance policy against illegal weapons is being ensured.
