Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), in its governing council meeting, made sure that the remaining PSL 5 matches will take place in the country instead of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
According to a local newspaper, the governing council rejected the proposal of staging the knock-out stage in UAE due to high expenses. According to the approved budget, the PCB will plan to conclude PSL 2020 in November in Pakistan.
On the other hand, the PCB is also planning an alternative if the tournament’s completion wouldn’t be possible due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.
It must be noted here that PSL 5’s knock-out stage was called off after the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.
