MIANWALI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said his party would provide all basic amenities, including healthcare, education, law and order, quick justice and potable water after coming into power.
Addressing a public meeting at Kamar Misani, he said the condition of government schools in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa had improved during the last PTI government as evident from the fact that some 300,000 children studying at private institutions got admission in public sector ones.
The PTI chief also said he would introduce a healthcare system in the rest of the country just as it was introduced in K-P where every person could get medical treatment of up to Rs550,000 and expenses would be borne by the government.
Regarding law and order, Imran said he would make police apolitical and nobody would be allowed to interfere in their affairs. The PTI chairman also vowed speedy disposal of civil and criminal cases would be ensured and steps would also be taken for provision of speedy justice to the people, if the PTI was voted to power. “We will construct the Bhasha Dam after coming into government,” he pledged.
Meanwhile, addressing a public gathering at Piplan, PTI chairman Imran Khan said he would bring about fundamental changes to all sectors including industry, commerce and agriculture after coming to power.
“Our economic condition has gone from bad to worse while the price of dollar has reached its peak which would likely spur inflation,” highlighted Imran while assuring to protect forests and plant more trees to save environment.
“Accountability of plunderers has begun and they are being sentenced for their deeds,” concluded Imran.
