ISLAMABAD: The public humiliation of a lady Assistant Commissioner at a Ramadan Bazar by Firdous Ashiq Awan has earned a huge criticism and bashing from all walks of life with social media platforms giving very rough time to the Punjab Chief Minister’s Special Assistant, urging her to publically apologize to the female officer whom she humiliated publically. As the video of the episode went viral on Social Media platforms, people with diverse political affiliations snubbed Firdous and expressed their anguish and extreme displeasure over her action. It also gave the opposition leaders yet another opportunity to hit hard on the government and to argue the performances and attitudes of the government representatives.
Earlier, Special Assistant to CM Punjab Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Sunday paid a special visit to Ramazan Bazaar set up at Jinnah Stadium Sialkot. During the visit, the SACM visited various installs and inspected prices of different edible commodities and cleanliness arrangements.
