RAWALPINDI: Punjab Council of the Art Rawalpindi (PUCAR) arranged a special musical night to mark Independence Day with traditional enthusiasm. Director Waqar Ahmed along-with Zahida Ch was present on the occasion.
In the music show, Rizwan Jan, Nazakat Ali, Nadeem, Sagar Khan, Azhar Kamil, Bantu and Jamshid Awan received beautiful applause from the audience by presenting beautiful songs and hymns. Ayub Khawar hosted the show.
While addressing at the ceremony, Director Waqar Ahmed said that artists are our precious asset and the Council has include them in Independence Day celebrations. He added that the Council always strived for the welfare of artists. An Independence Day cake was also cut at the end of the music show.
