ISLAMABAD: A spokesperson of the Indus River System Authority (IRSA) has said that water shortage for Sindh and Punjab stands at only 13 percent while the inflow of water in the rivers has increased by 23,500 cusecs.
He said in a statement that an important meeting of the Indus River System Authority was held Tuesday to review the water situation in which it was told that water inflow in the rivers has increased to 252,600 cusecs.
He said that water discharge from Tarbela Dam has been increased from 90,000 to 100,000 cusecs while water discharge from Chashma Barrage has been increased to 110,000 cusecs.
