Indian opposition leader Rahul Gandhi has criticised US President Donald Trump following his warning that “a whole civilisation will die” if Iran fails to meet a deadline over the Strait of Hormuz.
In a statement on X, Gandhi said that while wars remain a reality, any language or action contemplating the end of civilisation is unacceptable in the modern world.
He further stressed that the use of nuclear weapons can never be justified under any circumstances.
