Karachi: Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan has shared his excitement after becoming a part of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for the first time in six years.
Taking to Twitter after he was picked by last year’s finalist Lahore Qalandars, Khan said he is looking forward to playing in one of the competitive cricket leagues around the world. “I’m super excited to be part of PSL this year and play for Lahore Qalandars. It will be a totally different experience for me the first time. PSL looking forward for a great season ahead, see you soon,” he wrote. Afghanistan’s Rashid has played four Tests, 71 ODIs, and 48 T20Is since his white-ball cricket debut in 2015. He has played cricket leagues all around the world and brings massive experience to Qalandars’ squad. He was picked by Lahore Qalandars in their only pick in Platinum Category at Players’ Draft 2021. He will not be available for the first five matches of the tournament due to national duty. – Agencies
