Rector IIUI vows establishing Kashmir Desk

ISLAMABAD: Rector International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) Prof. Dr. Masoom Yasinzai vowed for establishing a ‘Kashmir Desk’ at the female campus of the varsity.
He was addressing a ceremony here on Tuesday, organized in connection with Independence Day celebrations. A cake was cut and a sapling was also planted by Dr. Masoom as part of a tree plantation campaign.
The Rector IIUI said that “Kashmir Desk†will provide information and literature about Kashmir’s history, importance and culture. The desk will also be a source of condemning atrocities being continued by Indian forces, he said and called upon the global community to play a role for the rights of Kashmiris and people of Palestine.
He said we must not forget the sacrifices and struggle of Kashmiris.
