Retired cops bid warm farewell

ISLAMABAD: A farewell ceremony was held at Security division Islamabad in honor of Islamabad Police DSP Sajjad Hussain and Inspector Muhammad Botta.
The ceremony was attended by DIG Security/ Headquarters Syed Ali Raza as the chief guest, while other senior police officers including SSP Security Muhammad Sarfraz Virk were also present on the occasion.


During the ceremony, DIG Security/ Headquarters praised the services of the retired officers for the police department and said that retirement is part of the service. Whoever starts their service will eventually retire.
You have served the police department for a long time and during the service we all should aim to do work that will bring us honor and be remembered for good character. We should pledge to perform as much public service as possible during our tenure to gain the pleasure of Allah.
He further added that you have spent a valuable part of your life serving the public through the police department and in return the department has given you respect, dignity and a place for which you should be thankful to Allah.
He also mentioned that if you face any private or official issue my office is always open.
On this occasion the retiring officers expressed their happiness for the honor they received and thanked senior officials.
At the end of the ceremony the chief guest praised the services of the retired officers and presented them with an honorary police shield, gifts and extended best wishes for their future.
