Retiring cop gives warm farewell

ISLAMABAD: A graceful farewell ceremony was held at Safe City Islamabad to honor the retired wireless staff officials of Islamabad Police, including Sub-Inspector Mehboob Ali, ASI Qaisar Abbas, and Constable Mushtaq Ahmed.
DG Safe City/ DIG Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joya attended the ceremony as the chief guest, while other senior police officers were also present on the occasion. While appreciating the services rendered by the retiring officers, DG Safe City/ DIG Traffic stated that retirement is a natural part of service, and everyone who joins service must eventually retire. He added that the officers served the police department for a long period, and during service, efforts should always be made to perform duties in a manner that brings honor to ones name and ensures that ones character and services are remembered in good words. He further emphasized that officers should pledge to serve the public to the maximum extent during their service in order to attain the pleasure of Almighty Allah. On this occasion, the retiring officers expressed their happiness and gratitude to the police department for the honor and appreciation shown to them.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the services of the retiring officers were acknowledged by presenting them with honorary police shields and gifts, along with best wishes for their future.
