ISLAMABAD: During the month of Ramadan the Islamabad Police have ensured robust security arrangements to protect the lives and property of citizens.
Police officers are actively carrying out their duties at all masjids and imambargahs during prayers, Taraweeh, Sehri, Iftar times and for citizens in Iātikaf.
Additionally, the city is being patrolled effectively to ensure that suspicious and criminal elements are dealt with through a strong crackdown.
In this regard, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi along with senior police officers visited various masjids to review security arrangements.
He met with police officers and praised them for their dedication in carrying out their duties.
IGP Islamabad emphasized that all officers of the Islamabad Police are committed to ensuring the safety of citizens during Sehri and Iftar, maintaining smooth traffic on roads and managing markets and commercial centers during Ramadan.
He stated that the true worship of his officers is to protect citizens and provide them with the best possible assistance.
Earlier, under the special instructions of the IGP Islamabad, all senior police officers have been reviewing security duties in Islamabad, briefing police officers on their tasks and ensuring that citizens issues are identified and addressed effectively.
