ISLAMABAD: IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, held an important meeting regarding investigative affairs. The meeting was attended by DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq, SSP Investigation Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt, and officers of the legal team.
On this occasion, the IGP Islamabad reviewed the follow-up and progress of serious criminal cases and issued directives to enhance security measures while prioritizing public safety.
He also instructed officers to accelerate initiatives aimed at facilitating the public.
Furthermore, the IGP Islamabad reviewed the investigation system and examined cases currently under investigation. He also took updates on cases being heard in higher courts and held consultations with the legal team on various legal matters.
IGP Islamabad emphasized the timely completion of legal proceedings in cases under trial in higher courts and strict compliance with court orders.
He also directed that coordination among all divisions be strengthened to ensure the provision of safe, efficient, and effective services to the public.
