Cape Town: South Africa have recalled former captain Faf du Plessis and middle-order batsman Rassie van der Dussen for their three-match ODI series against India later in March.
Du Plessis and Van der Dussen were rested in the ongoing ODI series against Australia, where proteas are leading the series 1-0 after a convincing 74-run win on Saturday.
Left-arm spinner George Linde is named in the squad for the very first time. The 28-year-old has replaced Tabraiz Shamsi who is not available due to the birth of his first child.
Quinton de Kock will lead the 16-member squad. The first ODI will be played at Dharamshala on March 12, second in Lucknow on March 15 and the final ODI In Kolkata on March 18.
