Sardar Yousuf welcomes Egyptian reciters

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousuf on Wednesday welcomed the world-renowned Egyptian reciters who arrived in Pakistan. The reciters β€” Ayub Asif, Qari Taha Nomani, Qari Ibrahim Asif, Qari Maher Al-Shennawi, and Qari Ismail Asif β€” arrived in Pakistan on Wednesday.
Sardar Muhammad Yousuf said that the Pakistani nation has deep love and devotion for the Holy Quran, its reciters, and those who serve it. β€œThe arrival of the Egyptian reciters in Pakistan is a source of joy and honour for the people of Pakistan,” he added. The minister said that the people of Pakistan would benefit from the soulful recitation of the world-renowned Egyptian reciters. The Egyptian reciters will participate in a grand Mehfil-e-Husn-e-Qiraat at Faisal Mosque, Islamabad, on September 5 after the Asr prayer.

The Mehfil-e-Husn-e-Qiraat will be open to the general public at Faisal Mosque. The gathering will serve as a means of promoting the message of the Holy Quran, love, and Islamic brotherhood, the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs said.
