Karachi: Former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has wished to compete in a 2 KM (kilometers) run with South Africa’s Faf du Plessis.
Sarfaraz expressed his view on Twitter after limited-overs vice-captain Shadab Khan tagged him in a video posted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) where the members of the national team were seen working hard in the gym ahead of the South Africa series.
Shadab tried to tickle Sarfaraz by mentioning opener Imam-ul-Haq. He joked how Sarfaraz is running two kilometers in the gym too as part of his fitness regime.
“Imam Saifi Bhai idhr bhe 2 km bhag rahy hain, [Imam, Sarfaraz is running 2 km here as well],” Shadab tweeted.
“Oh bhai faf ke sath karna hai mene 2 km [Oh brother, I have to do 2 km with Faf],” Sarfaraz replied.
Shadab once again took a gibe and wrote: “Bilkul body be same lag rahe hai apke [Absolutely body is also looking the same as Faf].”
Sarfaraz humorously replied: “Hahaha Han bs paas paas aagaya ho uske. [Yes about to reach his level].” Note, Pakistan and South Africa are training hard at National Stadium, Karachi as they are scheduled to play first Test from January 26.
