ISLAMABAD: Saudi Press Attaché, Dr Naif Al-Otaibi on Tuesday paid tribute to Fatima Jinnah on the anniversary of her passing.
Taking to his social media account ‘X’, he said “Today, we remember the great woman of Pakistan, Fatima Jinnah, who passed away on this day in 1967. Her stature was such that the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, once remarked, ‘I do not make any final political decision without her consultation.”
He said Fatima Jinnah, also known as Madr-e-Millat (Mother of the Nation), played a pivotal role in Pakistan’s history and is remembered for her unwavering support for her brother, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and her tireless efforts in the Pakistan Movement. –Agencies
