ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court will hear the bail petition of former National Assembly opposition leader and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Syed Khursheed Shah on Monday (today).
According to details, a three-member bench presided by Justice Mushir Alam and comprising Justice Sardar Tariq Masood and Justice Yahya Afridi would hear the petitions filed by Shah and his son Syed Farrukh Shah.
In this regard, the court has issued notice to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor. Shah was arrested in September last year in a case regarding his alleged assets beyond means.
Multiple corruption cases against Shah are under investigation with NAB. In 2012, an accountability court had directed the agency to file a reference against him on a complaint pertaining to the alleged accumulation of illegitimate assets.–Agencies
