ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police are continuing search and combing operations in various areas of the federal capital to curb crime and suppress criminal elements.
Under the supervision of the zonal SPs, grand search and combing operations were conducted in different areas falling under Sumbal, Ramna, and Kirpa police stations.
During the operation, 228 individuals, 112 houses, 14 shops, 57 motorcycles, and 16 vehicles were checked, while 6 suspicious persons were also shifted to respective police stations for further verification.
