ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police carried out a grand search and combing operations in various areas under the jurisdiction of Industrial Area, Bani Gala and Secretariat police stations to curb criminal activities and ensure public safety.
The operation was conducted following the special direction of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi as part of a broader crackdown against criminal elements and anti-social activities in the federal capital.
During the operation, a total of 171 individuals, 88 houses, 15 Shops, 108 motorcycles and 52 vehicles were checked. Additionally, 15 suspicious individuals were detained for verification. Moreover, two accused were arrested during the operation and narcotics along were recovered from their possession.
