ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, special measures are being undertaken to curb criminal activities and to ensure the safety and security of the federal capital.
In line with these directions, search and combing operations are being carried out on a regular basis across different parts of Islamabad. In this regard, search and combing operations were conducted in the jurisdiction of Sumbal, Sihala and Shahzad Town police stations under the supervision of zonal SP’s.
During the operations, 217 individuals, 134 houses, 32 Shops, 94 motorcycles and 21 vehicles were thoroughly checked, while two Afghan nationals, 17 suspicious persons and 1 motorcycle were shifted to police stations for legal proceedings and further verifications.
