ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, special measures are being undertaken to curb criminal activities and to ensure the safety and security of the federal capital. In line with these directions, search and combing operations are being carried out on a regular basis across different parts of Islamabad.
In this regard, search and combing operations were conducted in the jurisdiction of Aabpara, Margalla, Sumbal and Shams Colony police stations under the supervision of zonal SPs. During the operations, 545 individuals, 289 houses, 60 vehicles and 93 motorcycles were thoroughly checked, while 08 suspicious persons were also shifted to police stations for legal proceedings.
