ISLAMABAD: PS Sabzi Mandi and PS Aabpara’s joint teams busted 7 members of two snatchers’ gangs involved in numerous snatching incidents in various areas of Islamabad.
According to the details, a PS Sabzi Mandi police team, used the latest technology and human resources and arrested 03 members of a snatcher gang involved in numerous incidents of snatching, street crimes in different areas PS Sabzi Mandi jurisdiction. The accused were identified as Shams Ud Din, Muhammad Zakria and Muhammad Mazher. Police teams have also recovered snatched mobile phone, cash and pistol with ammunition from their possession.
During preliminary investigation the accused have confessed their involvement in numerous snatching incidents in the areas of PS Sabzi Mandi . Cases have been registered and further investigation is underway.
A PS Aabpara police team, used the latest technology and human resources and arrested 04 members of afghan national gang involved in numerous incidents of snatching, street crimes in different areas PS Aabpara jurisdiction. The accused were identified as Pervez, Najeeb, Zahir Khan and Tahir Ullah. Police teams have also recovered a snatched mobile phone, cash, and pistol with ammunition from their possession. During preliminary investigation the accused have confessed their involvement in numerous snatching incidents in the areas of PS Aabpara . Cases have been registered and further investigation is underway. DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chatha directed all zonal officers to intensify the crackdown against the criminal elements. “Safety and security of the citizens is our foremost priority and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard”, he added.
