Seven outlaws held, valuables recovered

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Bani Gala, Bhara Kahu and Margalla police teams have apprehended seven outlaws including house robbers and bike lifters and recovered looted items. IGP Islamabad Muhammad Ahsan Younas had categorically ordered all zonal officers to curb the crime in their respective areas and arrest those involved in looting innocent people.
Following the orders, a police team of PS Bani Gala headed by SHO Bani Gala Malik Rasheed Ahmed along with SI Muhammad Shareef, ASI Muhammad Ali Shah, ASI Tanveer Hussain, and other officials used latest technology and human sources and arrested three accused who were involved in house burglaries.
The accused were identified as Faizan Sadiq, Hassan and Zar Wali. Police recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition and stolen items worth Rs. 3,00,000 from their possession. Cases were registered against the arrested accused. Further investigation is underway.Meanwhile, Bhara Kahu police arrested an accused namely Saleem Khan S/o Hakeem Khan nominated in a FIR no. 446/22 dated 13.05.22 under section 411/381A and recovered a motorcycle worth Rs. 60,000 from his possession. Likewise Margalla police team arrested a motorcycle lifter and recovered a bike from his possession.
IGP Islamabad Muhammad Ahsan Younas and SSP Operations Muhammad Faisal Kamran have appreciated the police team performance. IGP Islamabad further directed all zonal officers to intensify the crackdown against the criminals.
“The officers with good performance will be rewarded while the officers showing laxity towards their official duties will be dealt with iron hands” he maintained.
