Auckland: Stand-in captain Shadab Khan has reportedly regained fitness and will lead Pakistan in the three-match T20I series against New Zealand.
According to sources, the 22-year-old took part in a net session earlier today where he bowled and batted. He also took part in an extensive training and fielding session.

Note, The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Sunday said that Shadab is struggling with a groin niggle. He also missed the Zimbabwe T20Is due to a similar injury and decision on his participation in the Auckland T20I will be made closer to the match.
