Shamim resigns as Sindh Opp leader

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Firdous Shamim Naqvi on Friday resigned from the Sindh Assembly (SA) as the opposition leader.
It is pertinent to mention here that Firdous Shamim tended his resignation before the Senate polls.
According to the reports, Firdous Shamim Naqvi has forwarded his resignation to party leadership. The PTI leader said he has been associated with the party for 24 years and it was the second time that his resignation was sought. It has further been learnt that Haleem Adil Sheikh is likely to replace Firdous Shamim Naqvi as the opposition Leader in the Sindh Assembly.
