Shanghai bus veers into a river

Shanghai: A Shanghai bus veered into a river Sunday evening, according to local media reports.
On-site videos circulating online show that rescuers are managing to pull the Route 71 bus out of the river.
According to Shanghai fire and rescue authorities, they received the report at 6:55 pm and rescuers arrived at the site in around 5 minutes and carried out rescue work. The bus driver was taken out of the bus around 7:28 pm, but at the time was unconscious and was transferred to an ambulance. When the accident happened, no passengers were on the bus.

Policies help increase Tibet’s trade overseas

LHASA: The Tibet autonomous region stepped up its policy support for foreign trade with its total exports and imports growing steadily last year.
The region’s foreign trade grew by 14.6 percent year-on-year to 4.6 billion yuan ($680 million) in 2022, customs data showed. The growth rate was 6.9 percentage points higher than the country’s average growth rate for the year.
According to Lhasa Customs, Tibet’s exports reached 4.3 billion yuan, while imports stood at 292 million yuan last year. In the first two months of the year, foreign trade hit 480 million yuan.
