Shanghai reports 14 new imported cases

SHANGHAI: Shanghai reported 14 new confirmed cases of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) from other countries on Saturday, the municipal health commission said.
The new report has brought the total number of imported cases in Shanghai to 56 by Saturday, while 26 suspected imported cases are under quarantine for further confirmation.
Among the 14 new cases, three were from the United States, eight from Britain, two from Spain and one from Switzerland.
The patients have been sent to designated hospitals for treatment. A total of 120 people in close contact with the patients on flights have been put under centralized quarantine. Shanghai saw no new indigenous COVID-19 infections on Saturday. – Agencies
