RAWALPINDI: Based on poetry, Shaukat Kamal Rana’s book “Zambeel” was launched at Punjab Council of Arts, Rawalpindi (PUCAR) during a ceremony organized in collaboration with literary & cultural body Ishara International on Monday.
Prominent poet and intellectual Prof Jalil Aali presided over the ceremony. Senior poet Naseem-e-Sahar and Dr Farhat Abbas were chief guests while Riffat Waheed, Hafeez Ullah Badal, Safdar Hussain Shah, and Ali Danish were guests of honor. The ceremony was anchored by Athar Zia.
The speakers addressing at the occasion said that Shaukat Kamal Rana has achieved prominent position in literary circles due to his unique poetry. A poetry recital was also held in second session of the ceremony. Athar Zia, Junaid Azar, Muzamil Abbas, Khawar leghari, Khalid Saeed, Sultan Harfi Tahir Baloch and others recited their poetry.
