| Says PM should worry about country’s deteriorating economy, not Opposition’s meetings | Asserts country’s economic situation has never been this worse before

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government took record loans.
Talking to media after appearing in accountability court, the PML-N president said that the incumbent government has done nothing for the well-being of the nation. PTI has destroyed country’s economy, he added.
Shehbaz Sharif further said that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan is not worried over my meetings with other political leaders but country’s worsening situation.
Earlier, Shehbaz Sharif while rejecting the hike in power tariff said that the opposition will save the people from the tyrannical government through no-confidence motion. In his statement, the PML-N president said that Imran Niazi should resign instead of depriving people of essential items with inflation.
“It has been proved in four years that the government has only plans for inflation and corruption, adding that the people could not get relief,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that there is no democracy in the country and the government stands only on the basis of telephone calls.
Talking to media in Islamabad, PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that Imran Khan did this to the country despite not having a majority, what would he have done if he got two-third majority.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that our demand is to install TV cameras and show the process of accountability to the people. He said that it was not appropriate to talk about domestic affairs of others. On the other hand, Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shehbaz on Sunday said that the public of the country will soon punish its rulers for making false promises.
Addressing the media in Lodhran, Hamza said that the PML-N has a relationship of honor and respect with Chaudhry Shujaat. PML-Q chief and I have spent 6 months in jail together.
He added that the court has bailed 16 accused including Shehbaz Sharif acquitted in clean water case. The number of lies of Imran Niazi is increasing with every passing day.
Hamza Shehbaz went on to say that a public court has imposed a punishment on Imran Niazi.
The people will soon punish him for promising 5 million houses and 10 million jobs. The children of the people are hungry and the laborers are unemployed.
He said that there is no money in the pockets when the daily wagers go back home and can see blood in the eyes of public, may God spare us from the tyrannical rule of the incumbent government so that we could sit together for the betterment of the public.
Meanwhile, he poured in condolence on death of former member Provincial Assembly Rafiud-din-Shah.
