FAISALABAD: Participating in charitable works is a blessing of Allah and the members of Sheikh Foundation have always played a role to be followed in this regard. This was stated by the President of Sheikh Foundation Mian Muhammad Idrees while addressing a meeting of the Executive Committee held after a two-year hiatus. He said that due to inflation, especially the problems of beggars have increased, so the amount of his stipend should be increased from Rs 2,000 to Rs 3,000 per month. He said that apart from marriage, education scholarships, Ramadan package, treatment facilities for deserving girls from the platform of the foundation, interest free loans for business would also be provided for which the cooperation of philanthropists is urgently required. Mian Muhammad Idrees said that the members who could not attend the meeting for any reason should also be contacted so that they too can be a part of this good deed. He said that many people want to give Zakat, Charity and Charity but they do not get deserving people. He said that we have developed such a comprehensive and transparent system on the platform of Sheikh Foundation that every single penny is reaching the deserving people. He thanked those who gave him time and money for this good deed and said that Allah Almighty will give him his best reward in this world and in the hereafter. He said that according to previous traditions, 5,000 ration parcels and 5,000 suits would be distributed among deserving families during Ramadan this year as well. He said that one ration parcel would be worth Rs. 5,000 and it would be made by Nizam Din Traders this year also. One parcel will contain 5 kg of cooking oil, 4 kg of sugar, 5 kg of basmati rice, 1 kg of lentils, 1 kg of lentils, 2 kg of basin, a bottle of syrup jam east, 190 grams of tea leaves, half a kg of soybeans and 1 kg of dates. ۔ Earlier, Vice President Rizwan Ashraf presented the details of the two-year expenditure and said that this meeting of the executive body is taking place after two years due to Karuna, however, the service to the people continued even during this period. He said that more than 1500 families have been provided scholarships and education loans while the children of 700 families are still studying with the help of Sheikh Foundation. Some of them are studying in Engineering, CA and MBBS. Are Shafiq Rafi promised to give one thousand men’s suits while Muhammad Arshad Achhi promised to give two and a half thousand ladies suits on behalf of himself, Khalid and Yusuf.
