Asad Abbas was a talented artist who had sung in Cok Studio and he was doing great professionally when tragedy hit his life. He has won the Pakistani Sangeet Icon and also won a Lux Style Award. He was suffering from kidney disease and his kidneys failed. His deteriorating health resulted in a decline in his career.
Asad Abbas had gone through multiple medical procedures including a transplant but that did not work. He wanted to go abroad for further treatment and he had appealed to everyone to help with his medical expenses. His interviews came out where he was not even recognizable any more.
He gave a few interviews recently where he shared his medical condition with the world. Unfortunately, he passed away today leaving this mortal world. This was confirmed by singer Sohail Abbas through a Facebook post.
