Six martyrs of Pakistan Army laid to rest

RAWALPINDI: Six soldiers of Pakistan Army were martyred and 3 terrorists were killed in the exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), there was an exchange of fire between the security forces and the terrorists in Deirduni area of North Waziristan.
Security forces took effective action and killed 3 terrorists and injured 2, 6 jawans were martyred dur-ing the fierce exchange of fire.
According to ISPR, the martyrs Havaldar Salim Khan (36 years old, resident of District Tank), Naik Javed Iqbal (37 years old, resident of District Kohat), Sepoy Nazir Khan (aged 26 years, resident of District Bannu), Sepoy Hazrat Bilal ( Age). 25 years, resident of District Mardan), Sepoy Syed Rajab Hussain (aged 22 years, resident of District Orakzai) and Sepoy Bismillah Jan (aged 22 years, resident of District Khyber) who died on May 4, 2023. Martyred in the exchange of fire. The martyrs were buried with full military honours.
The spokesperson of Pakistan Army says that the clearance operation is

going on to eliminate the ter-rorists in the area, the security forces are determined to eliminate the scourge of terrorism, such sacri-fices of our brave soldiers strengthen our determination.
A large number of senior military officers, civil officers including jawans, people and relatives of the martyrs participated in the funeral prayer.
