ISLAMABAD: PS Golra intensified operation against the drug mafia on Thursday while hand cuffing six female drug peddlers and seizing narcotics from their possession.
An operation against drug peddlers was launched by Golra police in slum areas in which 06 women were arrested and cache of narcotics was recovered.
Separate cases were registered against the accused in Golra Police Station. The accused were spreading drugs poison to the young generation and children.
On the instructions of IGP Islamabad Muhammad Ahsan Younas, a special campaign has is already in progress to make Islamabad “drug-free” city and strict action was being ensured against those involved in drug pushing activities or using drugs. “We are committed to eliminate the drug menace from the city and no one would be allowed to ruin the future of our young generation”, he added.
