ISLAMABAD: PS Ramna police team apprehended a wanted member of a snatcher gang involved in numerous snatching activities and recovered motorbike and weapons with ammunition used in crime from his possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city and protect the lives and property of citizens.
Following these directives, the Ramna police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending two wanted members of a snatcher gang. The accused was identified as Azhar khan.
Police team also recovered a motorbike and weapons with ammunition used in crime from his possession. During the preliminary investigation, the accused confessed to being involved in numerous criminal activities in various areas of the city.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
