ISLAMABAD: PS Industrial Area police team arrested a wanted member of a snatcher gang involved in numerous snatching activities and recovered snatched motorbikes, mobile phones and cash from his possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directions, the Industrial Area police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a snatcher gang. The accused was identified as Ehsan Ullah.
Police team also recovered two motorbikes, mobile phones and cash from his possession. During the preliminary investigation the accused confessed to being involved in numerous snatching activities.
Cases were registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
16 including 9 professional baggers arrested
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police apprehended 16 outlaws including nine professional beggars from different areas of the city and recovered weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directives, the Shahzad Town police team arrested two accused namely Mohsin Khan and Shahzad involved in possessing illegal weapons and recovered two 30 bore pistols with ammunition from their possession. Shalimar police team arrested 03 accused namely Kamran Hussain, Deen Muhammad and Binyamin involved in illegally selling petrol and refilling gas cylinder.
Similarly, the Koral police team arrested an accused namely Aurangzeb involved in illegally selling petrol. Sihala police team arrested an accused namely Yasir involved in illegally selling diesel.
Absconder involved in criminal activities nabbed
ISLAMABAD: PS Noon teams arrested absconder involved in theft incidents.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, special tasks were assigned to all police officials to ensure the arrest of proclaimed offenders involved in heinous crimes.
While all SDPOs and SHOs were directed to launch a massive crackdown against proclaimed offenders and court absconders. During the crackdown against court absconders and proclaimed offenders, the Islamabad capital police Noon police station team arrested an absconder namely Amant Khan involved in a theft incident. Further investigation is underway.
