ISLAMABAD: PS Lohi Bher team arrested a wanted member of snatchers’ gang, involved in numerous snatching activities and recovered snatched mobile phones, cash, laptop, motorbike and weapons used in crime, from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police intensified the crackdown against criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime in the city.
Following these directions, the Lohi Bher police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a snatcher gang.
The accused was identified as Zeeshan Haider. The police team also recovered the snatched mobile phone, cash, laptop, motorbike and weapon from their possession. Case was registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
During preliminary investigation, the accused confessed to being involved in numerous snatching activities in the jurisdiction of Islamabad.
