Soldier martyred in NW IBO

RAWALPINDI: Security Forces conducted Intelligence Based Operation in Senai Narai, South Waziristan District, on reported presence of terrorists, said a statement issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to the military’s media wing Sepoy Junaid, age 20 years, resident of Balakot, District Mansehra embraced shahadat. The statement said cordon and search operation was in progress to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.
Earlier on June 20, ISPR said two terrorists were killed during an IBO in North Waziristan district. The military’s media wing said that the operation was conducted in North Waziristan’s Spinwam area on reports of presence of the terrorists.
ISPR said that during the intense exchange of fire, Naik Nazakat Khan, a 32-year-old resident of Attock, embraced martyrdom. The statement further said that the killed terrorists were active members of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Spinwam and were involved in terrorist activities against the security forces.–ISPR
