ISLAMABAD: Central Vice President of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Senator Sherry Rehman has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan should quit before further weakening the democracy and the country as solipsist PM was left with no option.
In a statement issued here on Thursday, she said that Premier Imran Khan has lost his mandate and was also losing the number and support in the Parliament with each passing day.
Sherry Rehman said that one should tell PM that in democracy, the government was for lifetime as it was not monarchy.
She further stated the Imran Khan was trying to drag the Parliament on roads and violating the constitution to save his government exposes state of his mindset. The PPP leader said that political defeat has become fate of PTI as was neither backed by the members gathers by horse trading nor allies. Sherry Rehman said that Speaker National Assembly should end his efforts to save PM Imran Khan as delaying tactics could not succeed to save the rule of the prime minister anymore. –Agencies
